An Update in Mostly Pictures

Hello out there in cyberland! I know it's been way too long since I've posted. It's been non-stop with our family the past two months between church, work, school, family, life... When people ask how my holidays were, I have to think about what to say. One one hand, the holidays were great because we spent time with our kids, both sides of our families, caught up with dear friends, saw excitement on Isaac's and Isabella's faces as they opened gifts and getting snowed in. On the other hand, however, they were also frantic, busy, overwhelming, stressful, tiresome, and so not what we would like them to be.

So, here is a synopsis of what happened since my last post.

We went to Texas for Thanksgiving. We really enjoyed our time there as we just relaxed, played games, met up with some old friends, and made some new friends.

Here is Isabella with Uncle Boyd.

This is my dear friend Tiffani and myself. We've known each other since high school through Bible Quiz and church camp events. It is so great to have a friend in Lubbock.

Isabella really liked riding Isaac's bicycle.

My parents bought tickets on "The Polar Express" and we went with some friends from their church. It was really neat and the conductor looked just like the real one. And the waiters even danced when they brought out the hot chocolate.

This one is too funny not to post.

Fast forward to December. Here is a picture of Isaac as a wise man for his class program.

And here is Isaac in the center of the kids while Rick reads a story at the Christmas Eve service. He apparently likes the attention as I had to drag him off stag, literally.

This is my angel on Christmas morn.

Here she is opening a gift from Memaw and Papaw in hopes she'll get over her fear of vacuums.

And here she opening the gift from Rick and I.

Here are Rick and Tim putting together the turkey fryer I gave Rick for Christmas.

The Libby's got Isaac his biggest dump truck in the world!

These guys are total hams with their new robes on.

For New Year's Eve, Hannah and Isabella (aka Cindy Lou Who) looked adorable in their Patriots' cheerleader outfits. (Let's just hope all their cuteness helps them out during the playoffs.)

Isabella decided to put some make-up on with markers all over her face.

And from our house to your's, Happy New Year! May this be the best year yet!

Wendy, thank you for posting all the adorable shots! What fun it is to watch your kids from all the way in Texas as they are growing! I did kind of laugh at Rick frying a turkey with snow on the deck. You know if it snows here I don't think many men would be outside frying turkeys, and without a coat to boot! LOL! Your family is just beautiful.

Oh my word Wendy all the pictures are too cute! I liked them all, I was trying to pick a favorite but the kids are just adorable. Send them over any time! (of course, you'd need a plane to do so, but . . .)
