A Rainy Red Sox First

We were very blessed to recieve a few sets of tickets to the Red Sox this year.  My step-father and Rick were able to go to a game in June.  Rick and I went to a game in July.  And this past week, Rick was able to take Isaac to his very FIRST Red Sox game.  This certainly must be a rite of passage for all youngsters in Red Sox Nation. It was very exciting for both dad and son.  If the weather would've been a bit dryer, it would've been even better.  They stayed until they sang the "Take me out the ballgame song," Isaac told me.  And they stopped and Mum & Papa's on the way home.  (I still remember going to Mum & Papa's to watch Game 4 of the 2004 World Series- they cried when the Red Sox won.)

What a really great day for Rick and Isaac!

Isaac is right outside Fenway.

Who can resist a smile like this??

Here is Wally in a raincoat, which Isaac thought was super cool.

Dad and son.

He was treated to a Fenway Frank and a pretzel.  I think the pretzel was his favorite.

Another New England tradition, Dunkin' Donuts.  And, no, that's not coffee.  It's hot chocolate.

My two very handsome men.

Oh Wendy, this brings back memories . . . I was fortunate enough to be able to take my son to his very first major league ball game at another landmark, Wrigley Field. He eagerly awaited the arrival of every vendor! Cute pics!
